Despite a desperate need for new solutions to meet future challenges such as the aging population and lifestyle diseases, access to capital is a major challenge for many small and medium-sized companies within the life science. Sciety is one of the few players that help life science companies with access to the right capital. They have a large network of investors, professionals and business accelerators and work to connect capital and expertise with innovative companies.
Andreas Lindblom and Malin Härdig from Sciety will talk about the opportunities and challenges of different financing options. They will give tips on how to attract investors to your particular company and how to avoid common pitfalls.
Andreas is an entrepreneur and has founded and operated companies, including a stockbroker company. Previously, Andreas worked and conducted researched at Karolinska University hospital and co-founded a simulator center for keyhole surgery. Malin is co-founder of Sciety and have experience from analysis of companies before financing, design of investment deals and legal issues related to the capital raising process.
