20 October 07:45 - 20 October 09:00
In 2014, EU's framework program for research and innovation was launched – Horizon 2020. Nearly 80 billion euros will be allocated over a seven year period to Europe's researchers and innovators. In Horizon 2020 the rules have been simplified, which has made it easier for among others SMEs. EU encourages SMEs to participate. Now we are heading into the second period of H2020 (2016-2017), and the new calls for proposals are published.
What are the opportunities for SMEs? How can I find the one that suits my project? What rules needs to be considered? Where and how can I get help? Tuulikki Lindmark from the EU Support Office will inform about Horizon 2020 and answers your questions.
You will also hear from Mattias Bergqvist at the Swedish SME Biovica, how they have managed to get funding through the so called SME Instrument.
