Healthcare faces major challenges such as a growing and ageing population. How can we assure quality of care, efficiency and make sure that innovation will benefit society?
OpenLab is a center where students, teachers and researchers from Karolinska Institutet, KTH, Stockholm University and Södertörn University work with challenges that the City of Stockholm, the Stockholm County Council and the County Administrative Board face. OpenLab contribute with proposals for solutions to complex social issues for the growing region through new interdisciplinary collaborations between traditional knowledge.
OpenLab uses a new approach to address the social challenges that we face in areas such as health care and research and innovation. Key components within OpenLab is curiosity, openness, challenge-driven problem solving with actors and organizations from universities, healthcare / social services and industry.
