Seminar: Does Swedish life science have a future?

Wednesday, 8 October, 2014 - 13:30 to 17:15

There is a focus on life science this fall. Many wonder whether Pfizer will make a renewed offer to AstraZeneca or not. At the same time, the Swedish government will decide on a national strategy for life science, based on a study presented on October 31. On October 8, Lars Backsell, Leif Johansson and Susanne Ås Sivborg among others discuss opportunities for Swedish life science at a seminar at Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum.

When? 8 October at 13.30 – 17.15. Registration from 13.00.
Where? Wallenbergsalen, IVA Konferenscenter, Grev Turegatan 16, Stockholm.
How? RSVP to Britt-Marie Nordström, 019-33 37 00.

The discussions will cover:
  • What is the Life Science sector in Sweden today?
  • What can the Swedish government do to stimulate Swedish Life Science?
  • How can Sweden maintain an internationally strong position in Life Science?
  • Have Life Science a future in Sweden?

Note: The seminar is held in both Swedish and English.
