Karolinska Institutet (KI), in collaboration with the pharmaceutical company Chiesi, is working closely to develop new opportunities for research aimed at advancing knowledge and treatment in respiratory diseases, rare diseases, and neonatology.
The collaboration will leverage the partners' prior experience and the existing resources framework. The goal is to foster a culture of sharing, thereby speeding up the translation of research findings into enhanced treatments for areas with significant unmet medical needs. The opportunities include the use of registries, databases, and biobanks to better understand disease epidemiology and develop new treatments.
