The Future of Life Science is an international symposium about the future of healthcare, science, and life science in general. The aim is to bring forth relevant questions and trigger discussions among experts, academics, public officials, and private companies.
The events at MSD contribute to the debate in the life science sphere
Brown Bag Lunch Talks is originally an American concept, a casual lunch during a seminar with a current theme. In 2015, MSD started its Brown Bag Lunch Talks on Gävlegatan in Hagastaden. Their two events after the pandemic work-at-home period have been successful and appreciated.

Members of the association Neuro are people with neurological diagnoses and injuries, e.g. MS, Parkinson's, polyneuropathies and stroke, as well as their relatives. The vision of Neuro is that people with neurological diagnoses should have the same rights and obligations as everyone else.

KTH Professor Mathias Uhlén explains how the new database for cancer protein has improved cancer prediction. This development has come a long way since the Theranos scandal, where Elizabeth Holmes claimed to be able to perform a large number of analyses with a few blood drops.

Adnan Yousuf and I started Bling almost 10 years ago, wanting to democratize entrepreneurship. We didn't have a clear picture of the end goal then; we just knew we wanted to solve a problem. The problem was exclusion and how it leads to economic instability, leading to many other things.
