We are not what we eat but how. With this simple conclusion can build a brand new treatment for patients with eating disorders and that is also what the scientists behind the successful Mandometer method has done. By starting from the behavior control thought and not the other way around , they have challenged traditional methods of treatment and clearly shown that eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia are diseases that patients can be completely cured from.
We want to increase knowledge about Mandometer method and the research that led to thousands of healthy individuals with eating disorders. And as so often, this also involves a story about innovation and researchers who struggle against the stream and where the patients' whose voices are rarely heard.
