Breakfast seminar: Merck – guidance to speed up your journey towards the clinic

15 November 07:30 - 15 November 09:00

It is widely known that bringing a new biological drug into the market can cost millions of dollars and that the chances of a new drug to make it to the market can be less than 0.5%.

Improving the chances of a biological drug to reach the commercial phase means starting the process development with the end in mind: from using GMP-compliant raw materials up to developing your molecule in a scalable platform. This way, transition from R&D into clinical development proceeds in a straightforward way and the product/process attracts more interest from investors.

At the seminar, you will learn more about how Merck supports the life science market and can support you to get the right process in place from the start, thus saving money and time. This seminar will show one option among many others from Merck, by using CellReady 3L single-use bioreactors.

We will discuss examples on how CellReady 3L single-use bioreactors are used across the industry for small scale development and how scalability to >2,000L manufacturing scale is achieved.

Paola Amable is Specialist Upstream Technologies at Merck, Anders Nordahl is Account Manager at Merck and Sasha Tanner Emerging Biotech Senior Account Manager at Merck.

When: November 15, 2016, at. 08.00-09.00 (breakfast is served from 07.30)
Where: Wenner-Gren Center, Sveavägen 166, floor24 (take the elevators to floor 23)
