Uppsala BIO arranges an "efter jobbet" with UK Trade & Investment on September 21.
UKTI has established a dedicated unit focused on UK life science, the UKTI Life Science Organisation (LSO), acting as a simple interface to the UK Life Science sector. It provides support from the earliest stages of research and development through to clinical trials, commercial operations and business partnerships. The LSO will help you identify research, development and delivery partners and will support you through every step of investing in and working in the UK.
During this two hour-session Björn Axelsson and Chris Howie from UKTI will cover two topics:
Establishing a UK Presence – the first part will look at practical issues and questions that often arise when a company starts thinking about expanding to the UK, such as company formation, tax and employment.
Selling into the NHS – the second part gives an overview of UK hospital procurement and the tender process required to sell into the NHS.
