The Council for the Stockholm Mälar Region invites to the 7th International Regions Benchmarking Consortium Conference on UniverCITY Partnerships.
How can partnerships between universities and the public sector contribute to knowledge creation and solutions to societal challenges? How can partnerships stimulate regional economic growth and development? What impact do they have?
Partnerships between universities and cities have potential of great value for the cities and regions as well as for the universities. However, creating mutually fruitful partnerships is a challenge. The conference will present strategies, methods and partnerships between cities, regions and universities. An opportunity to share experiences and learn from each other in a dynamic participative format. Leading representatives from government, business and academia will discuss and exchange knowledge on the successes and challenges of partnerships.
