Linda Lindskog is Section Head of FoU at Karolinska University Hospital. In this blog post, she explains how the hospital has improved conditions for translational research and education. BioClinicum will be an important component and contribute to development of improved healthcare. BioClinicum is a joint effort between the Stockholm County Council and Karolinska Institutet. The new research center, which comprises 195 different research laboratories and geographically combines 900 researchers, integrates care, research and education.
