The international life science meeting organizer, EBDGroup, chooses to locate their BioEurope Spring conference in Stockholm 2016. This will be the first time the city hosts this event. The EBDGroup motivates the choice of Stockholm with the strong life science position the city has, along with the fact that Stockholm is well-renowned for hosting international conferences.
- Bio Europe Spring is the leading European meeting within life science. I am happy that the spring conference will be held in Stockholm 2016. This is something we have worked towards for a ling time, and it strengthens Stockholms position as one of Europes leading regions within life science. In addition, it is a great possibility to increase the knowledge about the region and its research, says Ylva Hultman, Busines Development Manager Life Science at Stockholm Business Region Development.
Stockholm was choosen to be the host city in competition with a number of other European cities, and the meeting is expected to attract some 2300 delegates from all over the world to Kistamässan on April 4-6, 2016. The delegates represent leading researchers as well as the life science industry.
