On July 6, SwedenBIO arranged the seminar Fabrikernas återkomst - så vinner Sverige slaget om läkemedelstillverkningen (Return of the Factories - how Sweden can win the battle of pharma production) in Almedalen. Oscar Stenström, State Secretary to the Minister for Enterprise and Innovation discussed Swedish life science with representatives from the industry.
"Right now, Sweden has a unique opportunity to attract more production of the global life science industry. However, more collaboration, rapid action on skills supply and competitive tax levels is necessary" was one of the take home messages from the seminar.
