A symposium where we will explore how regions and cities can work in new ways with innovation districts over the next decade to strengthen economic development and attractiveness.
The purpose of this meeting is to share international experience about what it will take to create, support, and enhance innovation districts as they adapt and change to new technologies and demands. We will hear from a wide range of key actors involved, from companies, universities, real estate owners, and place leaders. These conversations will explore the benefits and side effects of innovation districts, and what it will take to manage and monitor their progress.
The symposium will take place on September 26 in Hagastaden, Stockholm, a mid-stage innovation district specialising in life science. It will welcome partners and decision-makers operating in innovation districts across Europe and North America. The meeting will cover four key topics, including short presentations, moderated dialogues, and panel discussions.
- The Value of Place
- Governance and Community
- The Ecosystem Secret Sauce
- The Future
