After work: Psychology for project managers

19 April 16:00 - 19 April 18:00
Project management is one of the most difficult leadership tasks: with a lot of responsibility in combination with none or little mandate. Therefore, you need to have better people skills than other managers. The seminar will provide insights on things that often cause difficulities in projects, as well some concrete tools for handling people.
During the seminar, you will meet Leif Andersson who has a background as computer scientist and psychologist  as well as experience from project management and other leadership committments. He has also educated within leadership, coworking-ship and project management during two decades and is author of ”Psykologi för projektledare” (Psychology for project managers).

– Most of what has been written about and for project managers is about various methods, says Leif Andersson who previously has held project management educations for the life science industry in collaboration with Uppsala BIO.

 – I was lacking a book with practical tools for how to handle the people who make it happen - or those who create problems so that nothing happens. There are models for how to build a great team, but how do you handle the team you have been allocated?

Welcome to an interesting afternoon during which you will develop in your role as project manager, regardless of whether you work in the industry, in healthcare or within academia.
