How does one proceed to develop a company on the Japanse market, and which industries and regions are interesting from a Swedish perspective? Welcome to a breakfast seminar focusing on how Swedish companies can expand in the Japanese market.
Swedish companies have a positive view on the market in Japan. The majority of the companies improved their results and increased its market share in 2014. Moreover, many companies are planning to make new investments. This is shown in a study by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Japan with Business Sweden and the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo.
 
Swedish products and solutions, Swedish design and competence has good reputation in Japan. Many Japanese companies are interested in the Swedish/Scandinavian innovations and business models and is happy to cooperate with foreign companies. One example is Canon's takeover offer of Axis Communications.
