PR for life science SME:s

12 February 07:45 - 12 February 09:00
What is PR and why it is so important? Why in particular should small companies spend money on PR and what is the value of getting exposure in international media?
We have invited leading life science PR strategist Richard Hayhurst who will share his view that PR is an essential tool for SMEs, opening the door to investment, collaborations, market access and sales. In addition, Kristian Tryggvason, CEO of Biolamina will share his experience of how the company actively works with PR and storytelling.

Richard Hayhurst has widespread experience in life science PR, working with therapeutic, diagnostic and medtech companies as well as clusters, countries, research centres, NGOs and advocacy groups. He has worked as PR consultant both for the private and the public sector with clients ranging from Cambridge Antibodies, Genzyme and Axis-Shield to Roche, GE and GSK. Today, Richard runs his own company, Richard Hayhurst Associates in the UK and is partnering with Let ’em Know/Ola Björkman.

Kristian Tryggvason is CEO of Biolamina, a rapidly growing biotech company which is regularly featured in both Swedish and international media.
