Ageing with a Healthy Brain

On March 8, Stockholm Academic Forum, in collaboration with Leuven University, arranged a seminar and network event with focus on ”Ageing with a Healthy Brain”. The aim of the day was to build bridges and collaboration between research and industry. Some 60 people participated, among them a delegation from Belgium with 15 people who were in Stockholm to network and make new contacts for the future. The seminar was arranged in collaboration between Stockholm Academic Forum, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institutet and the Stockholm University.
- We are very pleased with the day. Several very interesting contacts were made, and I hope that also long-term collaborations will be initiated, says Maria Fogelström Kylberg, head of operations at Stockholm Academic Forum. A follow-up event is planned for the fall when a delegation from Stockholm will be invited to visit Leuven.

The board of Stockholm Academic Forum visited the University of Leuven in 2015 and decided on co-arranging an event. University of Leuven is among Europe's foremost when it comes to commercialization of research.
