On April 23rd, some 300 delegates from British and Nordic life science gathered in London for the 12th Anglo-Nordic Life Science Conference. With the aim of making business or moving positions forward with collaborations, 8 companies from the Stockholm-Uppsala region joined the UppsalaBIO delegation.
One of them was Immuneed, an Uppsala based company developing therapeutic cancer vaccines to treat prostate cancer.In parallel, Immuneed provides a service where the drug candidate/human whole blood interaction is investigated. CEO Sara Mangsbo was satisfied with the meeting.
– I am here for Immuneed, in order to find investors as well as clients for the service that we offer. The meeting exceeded my expectations – forming a network takes time, and to be able to meet so many actors during one day is invaluable, says Sara Mangsbo.
