The Park Forskaren: A new Life-Science hub

The Park is a co-working space with nearly 2000 members and four offices in Stockholm. At the turn of the year, they will open the doors to The Park Forskaren, welcoming both large and small life science companies. In addition to office space, they will also drive the community within the building by organizing events such as breakfast seminars, after-work gatherings, and other activities that promote networking.

– The Park is a creative co-working space with nearly 2000 members and four offices in attractive locations in Stockholm. We are more than just an office space - we are passionate about creating a sense of community and helping companies grow together, says Thom Feeney, COO at The Park.

– We are soon opening an entire floor at Forskaren, offering attractive workspaces - from sofas and tables where one can land for short tasks or casual meetings, to desks and chairs for those who prefer a more permanent workspace. We also offer flexible meeting rooms and event spaces, making The Park a dynamic workplace and community, says Naz Farhadi, Head of Community & Partnerships at The Park.

According to them, The Park Forskaren will become Stockholm's new life science hub and a natural meeting place for anyone interested in or working in life science.

Why did you choose Forskaren?

– Forskaren is a place that combines advanced technology with entrepreneurship, top-notch restaurants, and event spaces - and of course, we want to contribute our expertise in creating dynamic work environments. We see The Park Forskaren as a way to further strengthen Stockholm's co-working scene with hubs for collaboration in all industries, says Thom Feeney.

Who can become members of your community at Forskaren?

– We cater to all companies - regardless of size or maturity - from startups to established companies in life science or those offering services to life science companies. We have members who sit at The Park full-time, but many companies have shown great interest in being present in the building, so our hybrid membership has been very popular, says Naz Farhadi.

The hybrid membership means that you can work at Forskaren for two days a month but have access to all activities and events, allowing you to network with the rest of their community.

What are the advantages of working at The Park?

– In addition to the location in Hagastaden, the opportunities to network with other life science companies, and the chance to have an address in one of Sweden's most iconic buildings, we offer hundreds of events per year - both social and professional. In our 20 years in the industry, we have developed our network and had a strong focus on creating an environment where our network feels at home, finds focus, expands their network, and above all, inspires growth. With us, you grow - together, emphasizes Thom Feeney.

– We have seen a great interest in hybrid and flexible memberships, but we still have a handful of offices available, so if you are interested in working at Forskaren, feel free to contact us. For our members who want to engage in the community, we also offer event spaces at favorable prices (or even for free of charge!). We have already booked several activities for the coming year but would love to find even more. If you want to organize an event at Forskaren, you can contact us at community@thepark.se, says Naz Farhadi.

What activities do you have scheduled so far?

– Already on January 11, we will kick off our first breakfast seminar at The Park Forskaren in collaboration with two of our members, AWA and Brave Recruitment Sweden, where we invite startups and SMEs in life science to learn more about strengthening and protecting their brand. After that, we have several breakfast seminars and after-work events with opportunities to network, learn more, and share knowledge. Our open events can be found on our website, but as a member, you get exclusive access to our Community platform and free access to ALL our hundreds of member events per year, concludes Naz Farhadi.
