Every four years, the Swedish Society of Medicine awards the Oscar Medin Prize for outstanding research contributions in paediatrics. This year's recipient was Petter Brodin, professor at the Department of women's and children's health at Karolinska Institutet, and paediatrician at the Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital at Karolinska University Hospital.
