On January 16, the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKL) held a seminar focusing on clearer regulations for the implementation of digital services in Swedish healthcare. The purpose was partly to show the rapid technological development regarding digital products and services for prescribed self-care and home monitoring, and to raise the need for public actors to coordinate and contribute to the development of clearer rules for the introduction of digital services and products in Sweden.

During the seminar, the project presented recommendations from its recently launched report. Panel participants from both healthcare and government agencies, and patient organizations and companies shared thoughts about their experiences of taking digital solutions to patients.
