Infrastructure for drug development in Stockholm – future technologies in imaging and radiopharmacy

In drug development today, advanced imaging techniques are used to gain insights into how pharmaceuticals work in the body. In Stockholm, Karolinska University Hospital, Karolinska Institutet, and Region Stockholm have jointly established the Centre for Imaging Research (CIR), which provides facilities and expertise in clinical research for industry, healthcare, and academia.
