CHaSE 2025: Expanding Horizons for the Next Generation of Life Science Leaders

On November 21st, Stockholm once again becomes the meeting point for ambition and opportunity as the Careers in Health and Science Exposition (CHaSE) opens its doors. Hosted at Karolinska Institutet, the fair is recognized as one of Scandinavia’s leading career platforms in life sciences and healthcare, bringing together students, researchers, and professionals with the organizations shaping the future of health.

Since its launch in 2014, CHaSE has steadily built a reputation as a bridge between academia and industry, connecting thousands of young scientists with companies and institutions looking for fresh talent. Its impact was acknowledged in 2022 when it received the Scandinavian Business Award for Best Health & Science Jobs Fair.

What makes this year’s edition special is its expanded focus: while continuing to serve Karolinska Institutet’s community, CHaSE 2025 is reaching out more actively to students from other universities across Stockholm as well as neighboring cities. This broader scope reflects the fair’s ambition to foster a more integrated and collaborative life science ecosystem in Sweden.

Behind the event is a passionate team of 24 students, led by this year’s President, Wenry Wang. Their efforts ensure that CHaSE remains not only a networking arena but also a space for learning and growth. Alongside the exhibition floor, attendees can look forward to career workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching designed to help them sharpen their professional profiles and prepare for the next steps in their careers.
