Stockholm University’s holding company is expanding

Two new employees are recruited to the SU Holding team, which is simultaneously changing its name to SU Ventures. They will, among other things, work with the Trio Impact Invest initiative and with business development within the existing company portfolio.

“We are in an expansive phase,” says CEO Mona Wilcke, who describes the organisation’s development as a result of an increased inflow of research-based innovations and an ambition to work more toward dual-use and challenge-driven innovation.

Today, SU Ventures has over 30 portfolio companies and is working intensively with the newly established investment fund Trio Impact Invest, an initiative carried out together with KI Holding and KTH Ventures. The fund will primarily invest in deep-tech innovations and serve as a market complement for research-based companies in the region.
