Stockholm University’s holding company is expanding
The new team members are Joel Arnoldsson, formerly Innovation Manager at Wargön Innovation, which supports organisations in developing and commercialising new sustainable materials, and Anna Lindbäck, formerly Advisor at the global venture capital fund Loyal VC.
“We are in an expansive phase,” says CEO Mona Wilcke, who describes the organisation’s development as a result of an increased inflow of research-based innovations and an ambition to work more toward dual-use and challenge-driven innovation.
Today, SU Ventures has over 30 portfolio companies and is working intensively with the newly established investment fund Trio Impact Invest, an initiative carried out together with KI Holding and KTH Ventures. The fund will primarily invest in deep-tech innovations and serve as a market complement for research-based companies in the region.
