Welcome to a breakfast seminar offering insights into how Karolinska University Hospital is developing new care pathways, conducting clinical studies, and applying precision diagnostics to enable more targeted treatments. These new approaches to precision medicine are bringing research and healthcare services closer together, opening up opportunities for new discoveries and innovations while also placing new demands on organisation and collaboration.

In closing, Anders Ahlsson, Director of Health and Medical Services for Region Stockholm, will provide an overview of regional and national initiatives in precision medicine. This will be followed by a panel discussion with all participants, where we will jointly explore what Karolinska University Hospital’s work, together with broader initiatives, means for the development of Stockholm’s life science ecosystem.
