Innovation and collaboration: How Flemingsberg is shaping the future of life science
Between 2025– 2027 the foundation leads the ERDF-funded project Life Science Cluster Flemingsberg, marking a step towards establishing the area as a leading hub for life science innovation, and strengthening the Stockholm Region’s position within the sector. The project aims to support the growth and establishment of SME’s, while creating the right conditions for Flemingsberg’s life science cluster to reach its full potential. By building strong meeting places and networks, improving access to research infrastructure, and promoting sustainable collaboration, the initiative is set to contribute to the long-term development of the industry.
Life Science Fairs 2026 – Meeting Places for Innovation and Collaboration
As part of the project, the foundation hosts Life Science Fairs in 2026, building on successful debut events last year which brought together researchers, healthcare professionals, and entrepreneurs. The events are open to anyone interested in the latest developments in life science – from breakthroughs to investment opportunities – and include presentations, interactive sessions and exhibitions.
Building strong meeting places lies at the heart of our project, and I am convinced that this is the key to driving innovation and collaboration in life science. At Flemingsberg, we follow the Triple Helix model, bringing together researchers, companies, and healthcare professionals to create real value.
