The next generation of quantum computers is soon available

The non-profit company QuNorth, owned by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and EIFO (Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund), is set to play a leading role in both the development and use of quantum computers. By collaborating with researchers, innovators, and industry across multiple sectors, it aims to strengthen the Nordic ecosystem in this field.

“The Nordic countries were early in developing and testing quantum computers, and we are well-positioned on the quantum front. The United States selected 12 countries early on to collaborate in this area, and Denmark, Finland, and Sweden were among them. Now, we want to both maintain our strong position and further develop it by leading the way in quantum technology,” says Ebba Carbonnier, who has been CEO of QuNorth since November.
