During World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, stakeholders are encouraged to contribute to slowing the spread of antimicrobial resistance. The global network ReAct works on the issue of antibiotic resistance – from local communities and interest groups to the highest levels of international policymaking.

ReAct (Action on Antibiotic Resistance) has offices in Zambia, India, Ecuador, and Sweden, and engages an extensive network of diverse actors: these may include teachers and students in Latin American schools, healthcare workers in India, parliamentarians in African regions, nurses in Ukraine, and significant global organisations such as the World Health Organization (WHO).
